In this TED Talk, Neuroscientist Daniel Reisel presents the case for restorative justice. Instead of imprisoning criminals, an alternative is to help their brains ‘rehabilitate’. Put another way: if the brain can grow new neural pathways after an injury, perhaps morality could be ‘re-wired’.
